The prequel to the original Dune tells the story of how the Sisterhood of Rossak became the Bene Gesserit. The incident involving Valea Harkonnen’s use of her voice was caused by the so-called „Dune Mentat.“ All three books intertwine with the development of the Sisterhood, Mentats, Navigators, and Doctor Whores. Okay, to be honest, I put it off because every trailer seemed boring to me.
It’s definitely interesting
Tonight, out of pure desperation in the search for something new, I broke down and decided to give it a try. You know, I’m glad I did it. The acting is decent, the world is solid, and there are some very dynamic characters.
The biggest downside is the pacing
The first series really drags out right up until the end, but I’m not going to lie, the ending was good. The only thing that worries me is that this might have the same problem as The Ring. A lot of growth in the absence of supply.
Only time will tell
